Thomas R. Bobak, 79, attorney, passed away on January 26, 2013; Former City Attorney of Calumet City, IL and Village Attorney of Riverdale, IL. Survived by his loving wife, Ruthellyn; children, Mark (Paula) Bobak, Mary Cay Montgomery, Nancy (Dennis) Pedrelli, Thomas (Jennifer) Bobak; proud grandfather of 7; cherished uncle of Georgette and Denise Mytych; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Wednesday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church, Munster, IN. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, calumet City, IL. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of the Calumet Area or the Mercy Home for Boys, would be appreciated. Tom was the city and village attorney for 34 years; he practiced municipal and general law. He served with the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Woodmar Country Club. Tom was an avid golfer, Cub’s and University of St. Louis Basketball fan.
