Timothy F. Ayersman, 53, of Dyer, IN passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 after a 3 ¬Ω year courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Catherine (nee Meyer); son, Kyle Ayersman; daughter, Elizabeth Ayersman; parents, Robert and Ann Ayersman; sisters, Nancy (Dr. John) Hoehn and Lynn (Steve) Kondrat; brothers, Robert (Diane) Ayersman, Brian (Karen) Ayersman and Jeff (Marielyz) Ayersman; father-in-law, Donald (late Phyllis) Meyer; 2 sisters-in-law and 3 brothers-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and 1 great nephew. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 9:45 am at KISH FUNERAL HOME, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN with a 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Schererville, IN. Interment will be at St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 3:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Tim was a graduate of Lake Central High School Class of 1982. He was employed at TYK America Refactories. Tim was the Past President of the Lake Central Indian Wrestling Club.He loved his dogs, Gracie and Macie. His greatest joy was watching his kids compete in sports, Tim never missed a moment.
