Victoria T. McDermott, 83 of Lansing, IL passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Thomas; son, Thomas J. McDermott; daughters, Susan (Michael) Hillegonds and Jane (Jim) Dienema; grandchildren, Sara and Matthew Hillegonds; sister, Josephine Stephens. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN with a prayer service at 5:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Church, Lansing, IL. Interment will be private at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL. Victoria was a longtime member of St. Ann Church where she sang in both the choir and funeral choir. She was a member of Lansing Country Club and Olympia Fields Country Club. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of the Calumet Area in her memory would be appreciated.
