Virginia C. Buchanan, 90, of Dyer, IN formerly of Merrillville, IN passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012. She is survived by her sons, Michael (Rebecca), Matthew (Nina) and James Buchanan; daughter, Anne Buchanan; 4 grandchildren, Meghan, Meredith, Douglas and Brian; 2 great grandchildren, Kaiya and Brooklyn; 3 siblings, Dorothy, Francis and Patrick Wynne; numerous nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her husband, Howard in 1994 and 2 infant daughters and a great grandchild, Teegan Virginia enjoyed a long career at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart, IN. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Consolation Church. She will be missed by her family and wonderful friends. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
