De Vries, 89, passed away Monday June 23, 2008; She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years; Russell De Vries; She is survived by her daughter: Karen (Earl) Foley; daughter in law Janice (Late Garrett) De Vries; grandchildren: David (Doreen) Foley, Shannon (Kevin) Gahan, Jennifer (Jonathan) Ellsworth and Jeffrey (Melissa) De Vries; great grandchildren: Nichole, Meaghan, Gabrielle, Ella, Samuel and Jorie; several nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her sister: Anita Zwitting; A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday June 26, 2008 at 12:00 noon from St. Thomas More Church, Fr. Michael Hoffman officiating; Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 AM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN. Vivian was a former member of the VFW Post in Roseland, an avid bingo player and a longtime member of St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Matteson, IL. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother;
