W. Gail Bacon, 77, of Schererville, IN passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bacon; she is survived by her children, Kimberly (James) Nichols of Merrillville, IN, David Bacon of Schererville, IN and Edward Bacon Sr. of Griffith, IN; grandsons, Ryan (Danielle) Bacon, Edward Bacon Jr. and Colin Nichols; great grandsons, Sebastian and Christopher Bacon; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 2:00-8:00 PM with a service at 7:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. He ashes will be interred next to her husband at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Hawaii. Gail was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and retired from the Hammond Clinic after 30 years of service. She was also a graduate of Hammond High School.
